Equine Gastric Ulcers Syndrome (EGUS) is a debilitating condition that may affect horses of all ages and breeds. EGUS can remain unsuspected to owners and trainers until the appearance of peculiar behavioural changes, clinical signs of colic, weight loss or poor athletic performance arise.
